Guitar lessons in north

co. dublin

About me:

I am a fully qualified classical and electric guitarist with 20 years teaching experience.
I hold a Licentiate in teaching and performance from Trinity Guildhall, London and I have given master classes in DCU Music Society, as well as  workshops in many secondary schools, including Malahide Community School.

I teach privately in the Portmarnock / Malahide area and I am also resident guitar tutor in  Newpark Music Centre. I teach a range of guitar styles from beginners level to diploma level, and I also teach music theory. The students I teach learn for different reasons - some are learning for fun; others are being prepared for grade exams or junior/leaving cert practical performances in music. Many of my students have been accepted onto third level music degree courses over the years including DIT Music Conservatory, NUI Maynooth and BIMM.

I have also performed widely over the past two decades, both in bands and as a solo classical guitarist. I have performed on RTE Radio and given many recitals. I also perform at weddings and functions.
